You decided to follow your passion, you did the soft launch and you got tremendous responses from your clients! which is eventually gives you the confidence to start the business. You started delivering the best services and there is no complaints from your clients but still it stopped completely!
The Fact
Must be wondering even after delivering the best services how a business shuts! But this is the fact during the great Covid-19 pandemic almost all travel businesses were bound to close.
Yes I'm talking about the hard facts of tour and travel businesses specially who were into outbound tours. Many has gave up and started doing something else after waiting months and months.
The Regrets
Imagine in the late 2019 you decided to left your fancy job and follow your passion that is #travel and came out with a nice value preposition which is already proven during your soft launch. All looks perfect and you started the business which is outbound tour specialist helping people to fulfill their foreign tour at affordable cost. Made some nice decent money and you are ready to scale up from next financial year i.e. April 2020! I am sure few most be scared after reading the month and year.. all of suddenly all countries closed their borders for tourist and your business collapsed before you take off! now your friends and family members are happy with the infinity lockdown system because of WFH, huge savings because no outdoor entertainments, no outings, no dining & the list goes on. Eventually more savings means invest the surplus amount on #stocks, #cryptocurrencies and all! and you and people from same industry looking at the sky! thinking I wish I would not left my job.
Life Goes On
But you cannot leave your passion just like that!
What's next? you cannot start your business now because outbound travel is the only industry which depends on other countries and political decisions during this whole pandemic time! Slowly you developed other surviving skills to feed yourself and your family but always watch news regarding which countries started allowing foreign tourists without any restrictions and you started doing some plans because the business you created that's like your baby you cannot leave behind during the hard time.
The Hop
Hopefully everything will be alright may be in couple of months! thanks to our medical systems, scientists and anyone who involved to reduce this virus spread. We may be seeing again people doing foreign holidays frequently. Finger Crossed.
